Crossfit McCalla

Crossfit McCalla is conveniently located outside of  Birmingham and Hoover Alabama right off of I-459 exit 1,  Crossfit McCalla is located in the Shoppes at Leston Farms Shopping Center.

What is Crossfit?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program used by more than 7,000 gyms worldwide and is the primary fitness program for military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders.   CrossFit isn’t about treadmills and stationary weight machines.  Instead, you’ll find pull-up bars, barbells, kettlebells and wide open spaces for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing.  CrossFit workouts are comprised of exercises that mimic everyday movements and situations – moving your body the way it is built to operate. Each day features a different WOD (workout of the day), which will keep your body fit and your mind stimulated.

At Crossfit McCalla programs are developed for scalability, allowing people of any fitness level and experience to participate. Everyone follows the same general program, simply modifying load and intensity based on individual ability. CrossFit is enjoyed by elite athletes, beginners, and everyone in between.
